About the Role
MF Forklifts Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Wingfield, South Australia. This full-time position is responsible for providing expert preventative maintenance and diagnostic repairs for a variety of machinery, including LPG, Diesel and Battery Electric Forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of forklifts and machinery
· Adhere to safety protocols and relevant industry standards in all operations
· Work independently out of a work van at customers location
· Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime
· Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and deliver high-quality service
· Maintain thorough records of all work completed and parts used

Qualifications and Skills
· Qualified Diesel Mechanic with relevant certifications
· Current Forklift License is an advantage
· Hands-on experience with LPG and Diesel Engines, as well as Electric Forklift systems
· Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills to address complex equipment issues efficiently
· Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring excellent customer service
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required
· Commitment to safety and a high standard of workmanship
